Hello, Jacqueline!
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. You have some lucky grandchildren! My kids love traveling to Disney destinations with their grandparents. It always makes me smile to watch my kids create memories with the same family members who took me to Disneyland Resort as a child. It is such a special experience!
Adjoining rooms can be requested by calling the
Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservation line. They are not guaranteed, but the Cast Members do their best to accommodate Guest requests. Have you considered booking a Family Connecting Suite instead? My family likes staying in 1 or 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suites at
Disneyland Hotel when traveling with extended family. The 1 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite might be perfect for your vacation! It includes 1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa or 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa. The living room area typically includes a half bathroom in my experience.
Don't forget that Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests can currently access
various perks, such as
Early Entry! Disneyland Resort has two theme parks -
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. Early Entry allows Guests to enter one of the theme parks up to 30 minutes early every day of their hotel stay to enjoy select attractions, dining, and shopping experiences. Just check the theme park calendar to see which theme park is open early each day. Valid theme park tickets and park reservations are needed to take advantage of Early Entry.
Jacqueline, have a wonderful trip to Disneyland Resort! We hope to see you real soon!
Magic Happens!
Jen
