Can a reservation from one hotel be cancelled and rebooked for another? I have a reservation for Paradise Pier and I had paid about 75% of it. I want to switch it to the Grand Hotel instead. Can the funds be transferred and the difference paid to switch?

    Welcome BACK, Jessica!

It's so good to see you again, and thank you for asking another question to us hEAR at planDisney!

I have good news and I have even better news! First is that yes, you are absolutely able to move a hotel reservation - including the amounts already paid - from one Disneyland Resort Hotel to another property. But the even better news is that the process is actually pretty seamless. All you need to do is call the Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservation phone line (or the Vacation Package line if you've booked a ticket + room package) and let the Cast Members work their magic. To speak to a helpful reservation cast member you'll call (714) 956-Mickey or (714) 956-6425; to speak to someone in the Vacation Package department you'll need to call (714) 520-5060.

Jessica, did you know that it's almost time to book your Dining Reservations? Most locations open their tables for booking starting 60 days in advance. If you have your heart set on a specific meal time or restaurant, keep checking back! Availability fluctuates often as other guests change their minds and cancel. I even like to check for openings on the Disneyland Mobile App during those little moments of found time throughout the day. Pro Tip: Reservations open at 6:00 A.M. EST time, so set your alarm if you have a must-dine as your top Disney must-do!

I hope that this helped to make your upcoming Disney Days and stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa even more fantastic, Jessica. (Be sure to pack your swim stuff as the pools are heated year-round!)
