I have a 7:55 AM reservation at Ohana on January 15th. how long does it take to actually get into the Magic Kingdom from there? I don't want to get to the park too late and waste precious ride time.

Aloha, Caitlin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Hooray for a delicious and welcoming breakfast reservation at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s ‘Ohana! I hope you are ready for a really delicious meal with some of your favorite friends like Lilo, Stitch, and the mouse that started it all, Mickey!

Caitlin, it is usually a good rule-of-thumb to allow 90-minutes to travel between destinations during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, since the resort is so big! But because ‘Ohana is located fairly close to Magic Kingdom, you can probably be done with your meal and at the park gate within 30-minutes.

From Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, my favorite transportation method is the convenient water taxi that takes you on a magical voyage through Disney’s Seven Seas Lagoon and right to the entrance of Magic Kingdom. You can also take the Monorail or a bus to get to the park from the hotel once you are done with your meal.

Pro-tip! Download the My Disney Experience mobile app before you arrive so you are ready to go once you are enjoying the magic. Use the search tool to Get Directions between destinations for easy step-by-step directions and travel time estimates during your visit.

I hope this information was helpful! For any additional planning tips or questions, be sure to stop by. We are here to assist you as you dream up and plan your magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon!
