Ohanas Best Friend Breakfast

    We have an 8:25 reservation at O’Hana for breakfast. We are staying at Fort Wilderness. How long should we plan for a boat ride from Fort Wilderness dock to Polynesian Resort dock? Can we catch a boat early enough to make our reservation?

    I love using the Walt Disney World Transportation System to get around "the World," The water launches or water taxis are my go-to transportation around Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon! 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has a fantastic breakfast, and it is one of my favorites!

    If you are staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground you would have to take two different boats to get to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The first boat would be from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to the Magic Kingdom Park, and then another boat from the Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This journey could take 30 to 50 minutes, depending on how long you wait for each boat to arrive. My recommendation is to take the boat from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to the Magic Kingdom Park and then the Resort Monorail from the Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (get off at the third stop). This journey might be a little shorter but will still take some time. You can ask a Cast Member how early the boats will be running on that day because it depends on when the Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to open on that day. If you are short on time, you may consider a ride-share service such as Lyft or Uber to take you directly from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
