Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lily!
I just had breakfast at
‘Ohana the week before last, and it was as magical as ever! From the platters of delicious breakfast food (oh hey, Mickey waffles) to the incredible ambience at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to the interactive character dance parade set to Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride (I get tears every time), it’s just so much fun. You’re going to love it!
We were a big party of 12 and several of my family members had special dietary requests. Our “Cousin” (that’s what the servers call themselves) was absolutely fantastic in accommodating our needs. We ordered several special orders of eggs (fried and poached), and those came out just right – but be aware that special egg orders are cooked one by one by the chef, and there may be a wait to receive them. We had a vegetarian with us, and we were offered vegetarian sausage as an alternative; we also received bacon as a special request, and I do believe they have turkey bacon available.
Lily, since your husband has a special dietary need, I highly recommend contacting the
Special Diets team to let them know you’re coming to the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at ‘Ohana. You can let them know the special need and what you are requesting, and they will do their best to accommodate or to let you know your options. They can be reached at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com, and you should reach out at least 14 days in advance of your visit.
I hope you enjoy your breakfast at ‘Ohana, Lily! I am especially fond of the pineapple bread (it was my sister-in-law’s birthday, and she said “who needs birthday cake?!” when she took a bite), and I could drink glass after glass of their signature, tropical “Stitch Juice” (okay, I totally DO drink multiple glasses). Have so much fun!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
