Hi Philip,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Fast Pass+ has revolutionized the way we vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. When our girls finally figured out the beauty of being able to "skip" the lines, they looked as if the road had just been paved with chocolate. Seriously.
To use
Fast Pass+, I suggest that you create a
My Disney Experience Account first. Once you have a My Disney Experience account, you can make your Fast Pass+ reservations and they will link to your My Disney Experience account online. You can then see all of your Fast Pass+ reservations in your My Disney Experience account and make changes if necessary.
When you head to the parks, if you do not have a
MagicBand, you will need your ticket card. Your card will scan at the Fast Pass+ entrance for each ride or attraction.
If you are staying on resort property, you can reserve your Fast Pass+ times 60 days in advance. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, you may book your Fast Pass+ reservations 30 days in advance. Guests can pre-book up to three rides per day at one park. Once you use the last pre-booked Fast Pass+, you can book a fourth Fast Pass+ at the same park or, if you have the Park Hopper option, you can book it at a different park.
In short, as long as you have your MagicBand or card, you just scan that at each Fast Pass+ entrance.
We like to book two Fast Pass+ rides in the morning then one in early afternoon. We can then pick up another Fast Pass+ in the afternoon or evening. If you use a Fast Pass+ for fireworks, you will not be able to pick up another Fast Pass+ prior to the fireworks show.
I hope this helps!
