Hi, Racquel! Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like Stitch might be making some mischief with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans! Let's see if we can figure out what he's up to and help you get things back on track.
Okay, if you're trying to change the date of your
Disney Park Pass theme park reservation, you're doing the right thing by canceling and trying to make another reservation with your new date, since Disney doesn't have a way for us to change an existing reservation right now. If you've confirmed that your previous reservation has been canceled, the first thing I'd try is checking the
Availability Calendar to make sure the theme park you're hoping to visit has availability on your new date.
Next, let's check the expiration date of your ticket. Disney uses a date-based ticketing system, so
you only have a certain number of days to use your ticket after your chosen start date. For example, if I were to buy a 3-Day ticket to start on June 1, 2021, I'd be able to use it for any three days through June 5. That means if I tried to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for June 6, the system likely wouldn't take it. You can check your ticket dates on your
My Disney Experience app by going to the three little horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen, then clicking on "Tickets and Passes." That will show you all of your tickets, along with the expiration dates. If you need to change the dates of your tickets, you may be able to do that in the app if you see a "Modify" or "Change Ticket" prompt.
If you can't change the dates, or the date you're trying to reserve is within your use window, you'll probably want to
call Disney's Guest Relations at the number listed under "Website Support." A Cast Member will be able to help you figure out what's happening and get Stitch out of there once and for all!
I hope this helps you get your plans moving in the right direction again, Racquel. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
