I have a reservation for 1 night at a Disney resort followed by another reservation at the same resort. Will they let me checkout at 7am for the one reservation, keep my bags with them and move them to my new room when the second reservation is ready?

Hiya, Zahara! Welcome to planDisney! We’re so happy you’re here.

Oh boy, your Walt Disney World Vacation is SO soon! I bet it will feel like you blinked, and suddenly you're off to enjoy Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration with your family. And what a party it is! You'll absolutely love visiting during this special time with the extra sprinklings of pixie dust all around Walt Disney World in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration. Of course, you won't want to miss the limited-time special EARidescent treats available through the parks, including the Chilling Chamber Pops available at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom Park. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a spooktacular dessert inspired by everyone’s favorite attraction, Haunted Mansion!

The magic of The World’s Most Magical Celebration extends beyond the gates of the theme parks and can be felt throughout all of the incredible Disney Resorts Collection hotels. So, I’m pleased to hear you’ll be enjoying a stay at one of these fabulous resorts during your visit. I have great news, Zahara! You can absolutely store your luggage with Bell Services while waiting for your second room to be ready! You’ll just need to bring your bags down and let the bell services team know you will be moving to another room once it is ready. Then, they will tag your luggage and hold it for you until you are ready to head up to your room.

You might also want to utilize the awesome Direct-To-Room service available to you as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest. Direct-To-Room service makes check-in a breeze, allowing you to skip the front desk line altogether by checking in via your My Disney Experience app! All you'll need to do is log into your account, open up the menu by clicking the horizontal lines on the bottom right corner, and select "Resort Hotel." From there, follow the prompts to complete your online check-in, and when your room is ready, you will get a notification on your phone with your room number and can head straight up whenever you are ready! This way, you can drop your bags at Bell Services, head off for a day of fun in the parks, and just go up to your room later that day without visiting the front desk. You can even use your My Disney Experience app or Magic Band to open your door. How cool is that?!

I hope I have been able to help you today! There are still a few weeks before you head out on your vacation, so please feel free to stop by again with any other planning questions you may have!

    Bye for now!
