Hello, welcome to planDisney Vanessa. Thanks for bringing up your question about ringing in the new year.
The
Walt Disney World Resort is already such a special place. Counting down til the next year inside one of the theme parks is usually a great time for all involved. Disney has amazing fireworks spectaculars like
Happily Ever After at
Magic Kingdom Park and New Year's Eve will be no different. If you plan on enjoying the parks all day you will need both a regular standard ticket and don't forget to make a reservation with the
Disney Park Pass System.
EPCOT typically has a celebration and I feel that is the place to say goodbye to 2023. You can pick which country you want to countdown in and say cheers to 2024 in whatever language you want.
As of right now, no Party times have been announced. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any updates and when the party locations and times will be announced. The New Year's Parties are a specially ticketed event so you will want to make sure you buy these usually sell out quickly. If you have plans to spend the entire day at EPCOT you should try to get into the Virtual Queue starting at 7 a.m. on the day of your park visit to get a boarding pass for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind this coaster rotates 360 degrees so you can always keep an eye on the action. You will join Rocket and the rest of the crew to stop a giant from, you know what I will let you see that on your own. You'll love it trust me.
I hope you find this information helpful. If you have any other questions or planning needs for your visit in December please visit us here at

Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
