Bonjour, Daisy! Welcome to planDisney!
EPCOT may mean Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, but perhaps the definition should be Exceptionally Perfect Cuisine On Tables when talking about the park’s dining options.
The chefs at Monsieur Paul take their menu planning very seriously. This includes a commitment to good seasonal and local products, which means that menu items are subject to change. So the menu may be different when you visit, but I’ll share the available information at the time I’m writing this.
Your internet sleuthing is correct that Monsieur Paul currently offers two options per course. For example, there is a beetroot declinaison with aromatice vegetal broth or a saffron mussels soup for hors d’oeuvres, and the meat course offers a chicken fricassee or a rack of lamb. You can find the full menu
here, as well as information about special dietary needs, dress code, and the history of the restaurant
here. The current cost of the prix fixe menus is $195 per adult, plus tax and gratuity (prices are subject to change).
If the current offerings at Monsieur Paul are not to your liking, then you may want to consider making a reservation at
Chefs de France. This is a more relaxed cafe environment than Monsieur Paul, but it offers a wide variety of classic French recipes. I ate here with my family on our last vacation, and I absolutely loved the braised pork.
I hope this information is helpful, Daisy, and that you have a magnificent meal wherever you choose to dine. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have additional questions. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Bon appétit and magical travels!
Matt
