I have a reservation at 8 am on Monday. Obviously we can’t check in 2 hours early as recommended, but what time do you recommend?

    Hey there, Janet!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are just a few short days away from making your galactic journey to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park!

You are so lucky to be one of the first Guests to visit this land during the reservation period from now until June 23, 2019. If you have an 8 AM reservation slot, you will actually be able to enter Disneyland Park with your group at 6 AM! Don't forget your confirmation email, and make sure everyone has their ID. Even though attractions will not be operating yet, you will be able to still make your way over to Star Wars Launch Bay to check in for your reservation. If you want to fuel up for your big day, some food options will be available to fellow early birds like yourself in Tomorrowland.

While four hours in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be plenty of time to take a spin on the Millenium Falcon, try some local eats, and shop amid the smugglers and traders, you will want to prioritize experiences like Oga's Cantina or Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers as these tend to fill up more quickly. You may even want to head over to the Droid Depot to build a custom R2 or BB unit that is totally unique and your own. You can even choose your droid's personality and see how it reacts to the land as well as fellow droids. How cool is that?

I can't wait for your trip, and May the Force be with You!
