We have a reservation Monday 1/17/2011 for Chef Mickeys at 9:25am. We are Staying at the Holiday Inn West Gate in Kissimmee. Our plan for the day is to go to Magic Kingdom. What time should we leave the hotel and how do we get to Chef Mickeys?

    Hi David!

Chef Mickey's is an awesome place to have breakfast!  My son and I give Chef Mickey's two thumbs up for great food and awesome character interaction.   Let me give you the easiest way to get to Chef Mickey's and then to the Magic Kingdom after breakfast. I am assuming that you have a vehicle.  Drive from the Holiday Inn West Gate in Kissimmee, FL to the Magic Kingdom Parking lot which is the Ticket and Transportation Center.  Park your vehicle (make sure you write down where you parked for later) and take a Tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center.  Take the Resort Monorail to the Contemporary Resort (the Contemporary will be the 4th stop). When you get off the Monorail at the Contemporary Resort, you will see Chef Mickey's on right below the Monorail Station.  After your breakfast get back on the Resort Monorail and travel to the Magic Kingdom (it will be the 4th stop). You can also take a boat or walk from the Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom.  When your day in the Magic Kingdom is done take the Monorail or Ferry Boat back to the Ticket and Transportation Center to pick up your vehicle.  This trip will take approximately 45 to 50 min so I would plan on leaving your hotel at least 60 minutes before your Chef Mickey's breakfast reservation.

I hope that you have a magical breakfast at Chef Mickey's on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
