Hey, David, it's great to see you here today at planDisney! The
My Disney Experience app is going to help keep you connected to the magic when you're at Walt Disney World Resort next week. You can use the app to make three different kinds of reservations: advanced dining reservations, Disney Park Pass reservations, and Lightning Lane selections using Disney Genie+ service and I'm happy to walk you through how to do each one.
All three of these reservations are accessible by tapping the plus button at the bottom of the screen. When you tap it, the first item in the list is "Check Dining Availability," which is how you can
make a reservation for a restaurant. Select that option, enter your party size, select the date and time you want to dine, and a list of available restaurants will pop up. Pick the place you want to dine and follow the instructions on the screen to book your table!
If you want to make or modify a
Disney Park Pass reservation, you can tap the plus button and select "Make or Modify Park Reservations." From that screen, you can check Theme Park availability, make new reservations, or modify the ones you currently have. Your new plans will then show up in the "Future Plans" menu or under "My Disney Genie Day" if you're making changes on the day of.
Finally, if you're using
Disney Genie+ service you can tap the plus button at the bottom of the screen and select "View My Genie Day and Tip Board" to make
Lightning Lane selections. When you tap it, a list of attractions will pop up along with their return times. Select the attraction you want to enjoy and follow the instructions to book a time!
