How do I make a reservation with military tickets?

    Hi Shelly! Welcome to planDisney.

You are counting down the days until you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort! My family visited earlier this summer, and we had the BEST time - and you are about to have your own epic summer vacation super soon. How wonderfully exciting!

As a military spouse, I have lots of experience using the Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets offered for visits to Walt Disney World, and it's my pleasure to help you get your tickets linked so you can make your Disney Park Pass reservations. On behalf of my family and my fellow panelists, thank you for your service to our country.

The Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets come in a few different forms. You might have a plastic ticket card or an exchange certificate, which often looks like a business card or paper printout. Look at your ticket and locate the ticket ID number, which is a series of numbers. It's on the back of the plastic ticket cards. Using the My Disney Experience mobile app (you can also use the desktop version of My Disney Experience, but the steps are slightly different), tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom right. Then, tap "Tickets and Passes" and then tap the "+" and then "Link Tickets & Passes." This takes you to the screen where you will enter your Ticket ID number, or use your phone to scan the bar code on your ticket. You can tap "Where is the ID number?" to see sample tickets and find your number. Once your ticket ID is accepted, follow the steps to link each ticket to each Guest's My Disney Experience profile.

Once the tickets are linked, you are ready to make your Disney Park Pass reservations. Follow the instructions and links on the Theme Park Reservations webpage to select your park for each day of your visit. You can view current availability on this handy calendar

Shelly, you will need to activate your military tickets when you arrive at Walt Disney World. Stop by any Guest Relations locations (outside of each theme park or at Disney Springs) to present your military ID and have the tickets activated. The Cast Member will scan each Guest's MagicBand (if you're using MagicBands) to ensure the tickets are properly linked, and then you will be ready for your theme park fun!

If you run into any trouble linking your tickets or making Disney Park Pass reservations, the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience Help Desk will be happy to assist. They can be reached at (407) 939-4357.

As you count down the days to your visit, please take the time to read the Returning to a World of Magic guidance to be sure you have the most up-to-date information on health and safety requirements. The Disney Parks Blog is a great source for updates, and they also share fun stories and tips for planning your summer visit. If you think of any further questions, your pals here at planDisney are just a dream away!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
