    We have a reservation for Mickeys BBQ. Staying at Coronado Springs and planed to spend the day in AK. What is the easiest and quickest transportation to Fort Wilderness? Would we be better just going straight from AK?

    Hi Jason! Although it would make a long day for you to be in the parks during the day and then head directly to Fort Wilderness for Mickey's Backyard Barbecue it is the easiest in the long run. You can simply hop on a Fort Wilderness bus from the Animal Kingdom depot and it will drop you off in the front of the resort. Mickey's Backyard Barbecue is held in a pavilion near Pioneer Hall so you would then hop on an internal bus that would take you there. Even if you had your own car or took a taxi you would still have to take the internal bus to the dinner so give yourself plenty of travel time.

    To return to your resort once the dinner show is over you can use the Magic Kingdom boat which is located just outside of Pioneer Hall and then catch your resort bus from there. Cast members can always assist you with the logistics of traveling from place to place on property.
