I have a reservation (May 29) at Akershus, on our last day. But there was a change in our return fligth, we can't attend (my daughter's dream: have a lunch with the Disney Princesses). How can we change our reservation date if no places are available now?

    Greetings Martin!

I understand your daughter's dream to have a meal with the Disney Princesses.  Akershus is one of the best places to do this.  Even my sons love to dine there and are in awe of the gracious Princesses who stop by each table.

My advice for you is to call the Disney Dining Phone Number listed in this link and explain your situation.  Do not cancel your reservation first though.  Dining reservations do continue to open up as you near your vacation dates and as other Guests plans change.  Therefore if you do not at first get your daughter a table at Akershus, keep checking back every day.  A good idea is to let the Cast Member who assists you on the phone know your vacation dates and be open to any meal availability ~ breakfast or lunch.  You stand the best chance of receiving an advanced dining reservation if you are flexible.

The Cast Members will do their absolute best to help you change your dining reservation.  If sadly you aren't able to accomplish it, just understand that each restaurant is subject to occupancy limit regulations that cannot be broken.  However do keep checking for openings in the reservation system even while you are on vacation.  Once I was able to obtain Le Cellier reservations for the same day through My Disney Experience on my mobile phone.

Here is to wishing some extra Pixie Dust falls your way!

    Blessings,
