I have a reservation in March. I would like to know what the process is for fully vaccinated guests. How do you check that? I only have picture form. How does that work

    Hello Kirsten,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your magical vacation is right around the corner. You must be getting so excited! I hope you are planning on visiting the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The park is particularly stunning at this time of year with all of the character topiaries and special garden displays, plus the Outdoor Kitchens have some amazing food to sample.

As you probably know, Walt Disney World recently changed their rules regarding face coverings. At this time masks are optional outdoors, regardless of vaccination status. Indoors, masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests, but unvaccinated guests are expected to wear them. On most transportation (monorails, buses, and Disney Skyliner) masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.

While Walt Disney World encourages all guests to be vaccinated, cast members will not ask you to provide proof of your vaccination status.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
