Hi, there!
Bianca, I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting
Magic Kingdom Park this week. It's my absolute favorite of the four theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort! No matter how many times I visit, I always get a bit teary-eyed when I step foot on Main Street, U.S.A., and see Cinderella Castle in the distance. It's just so magical!
To answer your first question, yes, you may absolutely leave Magic Kingdom Park and return in the same day. My family always leaves the theme parks in the afternoon to head back to our Disney Resort hotel. After swimming in the pool and resting a bit, we head back to the theme parks in the evening! We've never experienced any difficulty re-entering a park.
The answer to your second question is a
bit more complicated.
Bus service from Magic Kingdom Park to
Disney Springs is available (but it typically doesn't begin until 2:00 pm). You won't find direct transportation from Disney Springs back to Magic Kingdom Park, though. To travel back to the park, you would need to take a bus from Disney Springs to a Disney Resort hotel, and then utilize transportation from that hotel to get to Magic Kingdom Park. While certainly manageable, leaving the park to enjoy a meal at Disney Springs may eat (no pun intended!) a good bit of time in your day.
I recommend checking for dining availability at one of the Disney Resort hotels that neighbors Magic Kingdom Park!
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is super fun and features the fantastic company of Mickey Mouse and his pals.
'Ohana and
Kona Café both serve up delicious fare at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge offers hearty meals that will satisfy any appetite! And a meal at
Narcoossee's or
Grand Floridian Cafe at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa comes with Victorian charm
and a view!
I hope this was helpful, Bianca. I'm wishing you a magical visit to Magic Kingdom Park!
