If I have a reservation for lunch at cape may can I park there and go to Epcot and then come back for the reservation. Probably around 3 hours prior to reservation.

Hi there, Katherine! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great planning question.

Eeeek! In just weeks, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure. How exciting! As someone who drives to almost every Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I know how convenient it is to have your car with you, especially when you have a dining reservation at another Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. I'm thrilled to answer your question so you can tie up your loose planning ends, sit back, relax and start your magical vacation countdown.

I spoke with a helpful Cast Member who informed me that you will be able to park in the parking lot at Disney's Beach Club Resort approximately 30 minutes before your reservation time at Cape May Cafe, and you can remain parked there for up to three hours. The three-hour time limit allows you time to check in for your dining reservation, enjoy your dining experience and explore the Resort, however, unfortunately, you cannot park there and head to EPCOT.

Hakuna Matata, Katherine! It means "no worries." Although you will have the convenience of having your car with you, in situations like this, where I want to head to a theme park after my dining reservation, I find that taking the complimentary Disney transportation is the easiest way.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel on the Disney Skyliner line, simply take the Skyliner to EPCOT and then the short walk over to Beach Club Resort, where Cape May Cafe is located. If you are staying at another Disney Resort Hotel and don't want to take the long walk from the front of EPCOT to the International Gateway to get to the restaurant, take the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then hop the Skyliner or Friendship boat over to EPCOT to then walk over to Cape May Cafe for your delicious late breakfast. This way, you can spend as much time at EPCOT as you wish! And with the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts in full swing during your visit, I have a feeling you will want to stay longer!

I hope this was helpful, Katherine, and I hope you have an unforgettable upcoming vacation, full of fun, pixie dust and delicious dining! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
