My reservation is linked with my daughter's family reservation on MDE. Can one of us make dining reservations for the entire party or do we need to make them separately?

Hello Regina!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

With all of the Endlessly Magical elements to think about when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, it's nice to have a tool like My Disney Experience to organize experiences like Advanced Dining Reservations.

For most Dining Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, the number of Guests is more important than linking individual Guests to Advanced Dining Reservations.  You are able link individual Family and Friends in your My Disney Experience Account to a Reservation through My Disney Experience, but it is not required.

When my wife and I celebrated with 3 other couples during our Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend experience with a dinner at Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort, I made an Advanced Dining Reservation for all 8 of us under my name and when we arrived, we were all seated together.

So when you make Advanced Dining Reservations for your party, I recommend you make them for the number of Guests you require and do not be overly concerned about linking party members.

When you book Events and Tours or FastPass+ Selections however, you must connect to an individual Guest that is connected to your My Disney Experience Account through your Family and Friends list.

    ~Happy Planning!
