Welcome to planDisney, Brigid! Thank you for trusting us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
There is no better feeling than booking your Disney Resort Collection hotel and officially beginning the countdown for your visit to The Most Magical Place On Earth. With each passing day, you are one day closer to a DOLE Whip, Turkey Leg, a refillable popcorn bucket, or a Mickey waffle!
Depending on how you booked your vacation, you may or may not have been given actual tickets with a ticket ID number yet. If you haven’t received a ticket ID number but have a vacation package confirmation number or booking reference number, these should do the trick, too! Log into your My Disney Experience account and click “Plans and Tickets.” If you booked a package, look for “Resort Hotel” and “Link a Reservation.” Input your vacation package confirmation or booking reference number here. It should load both your hotel and ticket information into your account.
Or, once you are in the States and have downloaded the My Disney Experience app, you can attempt linking tickets by doing the following (if you have ticket ID numbers):
- Navigate back to the menu (by tapping the three horizontal line icon) again and select “My Tickets & Passes”.
- Tap “My Tickets & Passes.”
- Select “Link Tickets & Passes,” or if you don’t see that option, click the (+) in the top right corner, then “Link Tickets & Passes.”
- You can choose how you would like to create the link to the ticket: using your phone's camera, tapping, or typing in the ticket's ID number.
If all else fails, you can always head to the nearest Guest Relations location to have a friendly Cast Member assist you.
I hope this helps, Brigid. If you have any additional questions or would like dining recommendations, let me know! I would happily share some of my favorite dining spots with you!
Cheers,
Brent
