When you make a reservation to make lightsabers, can you take just one person off on a group reservation or would you have to cancel your whole reservation? We had a friend get COVID and can't go. Do we still have to pay for their lightsaber?

    Hiya Chloe,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so sorry to hear about your friend. Getting sick is no fun at all. I’m sure you will miss having them on your vacation, but I hope your trip is magical nonetheless. Luckily there is a way to remove your friend from your Savi’s Workshop reservation without creating a new reservation.

To remove a Guest from an existing reservation:

    1. Log into your My Disney Experience account and locate “My Plan” from the drop-down menu.
    2. There will be a daily itinerary under “My Plan” in your My Disney Experience account.
    3. Next to your Savi’s Workshop reservation, there should be a button to “Change Reservation.”
    4. Select “Change Reservation.”
    5. Once you click it, you should see the option to remove a Guest, change a Guest, or cancel the reservation altogether.
    6. Find your friend’s name and remove them.

Once you confirm, go back to your My Disney Experience account and double-check that your Savi’s reservation is still in your itinerary. Hopefully, that helps answer your question, Chloe. May the Force Be With You this weekend!

    Til the Spires,
