Have a reservation at Le Cellier at 7:25 p.m. for DH b-day on 11/23. Will we have time to see illuminations? If so, where is the best place to go watch after leaving Le Cellier?

    Hi Amy!

Le Cellier is a fantastic spot to celebrate your husband's birthday!  Congratulations on securing a reservation!  It's one of the toughest to "snag" at Epcot!  The cheese soup, steaks, fish and "Moose" dessert are all amazing.  The mousse even has "antlers!"   Illuminations begins at 9pm, and can be seen from anywhere around the World Showcase Lagoon.  As you can imagine, people hoping to secure a seat or completely unobstructed view stake their real estate claims up to an hour or so before the performance, but it is absolutely possible to get a great view at showtime.  In fact, we very often enjoy dinner at Epcot and then walk over to see Illuminations as it is starting.  Assuming you finish your dinner by 8:40 or so, I would recommend just walking outside Le Cellier and heading for the Lagoon.  You don't need to be right up against the rail, just be sure you can see the water, as many of the lasers and special effects take place at Lagoon-level.  The show is fantastic, and quite a way to wish your husband a "happy birthday!"

I hope you and your hubby enjoy a magical Disney evening!
