Hi Simon! Welcome to planDisney!
Can you believe in just a few months you will be standing on Main Street, U.S.A. with
Cinderella Castle in the background! Or riding through an African Safari with giraffes only steps away from you. You'll get the chance to celebrate the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration across all four theme parks and take in all of the new experiences that are being offered.
Luckily for everyone,
Walt Disney World Resort has multiple ways to enter the theme parks. I personally love using a
MagicBand. Not only can you purchase them in a variety of styles, but it also has many features that I use it for. Besides entering the parks, you can also use it to enter your
Disney Resort Collection hotel room, make purchases throughout the park, and enter ride lines by using the Lightning Lane Entrances.
If a MagicBand is not your style, you also have the option to use
Disney MagicMobile Service. This allows you to use your smart device as your ticket to enter the park, connect
Disney PhotoPass images to your account, as well as many other features. You'll need to open up your
My Disney Experience App and ensure that your tickets are linked to your account. After that, you will be able to set up Disney MagicMobile and add it to your digital wallet on your smart device. It's as simple as that!
What is not simple is trying to figure out a return date for the Disney Dining Plan. Disney has not released any information just yet, but Guests are eagerly awaiting a date. One tip I do suggest is mapping out where you plan to eat and the purchase
Disney Gift Cards for the amount you expect to spend. This will give you the benefit of having everything paid and accounted for prior to your arrival.
Simon, please stop back with any additional questions! Remember, you have a friend in me!
Happy planning!
Greg
