Hi there, Ben! We are so happy you found your way here to planDisney! We just love helping fellow Guests with their vacation plans for the Happiest Place on Earth! And what's better than visiting the Disneyland Resort? Staying in the magic! You are going to love strolling back to
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel after a busy (but wonderful!) day in the parks. Imagine, a churro in hand for the road, the sights and sounds of the parks behind you, and those spectacular evening views of Disney California Adventure Park wishing you goodnight! If you time it just right, you may even catch a glimpse of
World of Color! Truly magical!
I recently stayed at Disney's Paradise Pier, and I can attest that those views are equally as spectacular at sunrise and the perfect complement to your morning coffee! All that being said, you are correct that some aspects of Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel are currently getting a little refurbishment. I know everyone is eagerly anticipating the reopening of the pools with the weather heating up. I spoke with a Cast Member and the pools are expected to remain closed through the summer of 2022, so will likely not be available for your upcoming trip in June. I know, this is not the most pixie-dusted news, BUT that does not mean there isn't pixie dust to be had! Did you know that a golf cart will be ready and waiting for you just outside the hotel to whisk you over to the
Disneyland Hotel where you will have full access to the pool? It's a very quick ride and what a sun-sational pool it is! The iconic
E-Ticket Pool with Monorail waterslides! This is easily the best pool on property, in my opinion. While you're over there, Mobile Order some lunch from
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill for a poolside picnic and top it off with a classic DOLE Whip® Float! One of the only spots outside the parks where you can grab that frozen pineapple sensation!
When it comes to snacks and meals at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, there are a few options! While the restaurants remain closed, there is an exceptionally convenient grab-and-go in the lobby with essentials and basic snacks from candy to pretzels to beverages. You also have the option of ordering food for delivery from some participating restaurants in
Downtown Disney District. There are signs with a QR code in the lobby and also on the TV in your room that will guide you through placing an order. I recently stayed at Paradise Pier and didn't find the pause on dining to be a big issue between all of the options in the parks and Downtown Disney District. Did you know you can even Mobile Order sweets from
Marceline's Confectionary? I highly recommend the Mickey Churro Marshmallow. Trust me, it will surprise you! I also spent an afternoon at the Disneyland Hotel and enjoyed some new treats I hadn't discovered before! As a Disneyland nostalgia fan, I also loved wandering through the lobby and discovering the old photos from the early days of the Happiest Place on Earth! And those tea cup chairs in the lobby make for a great photo opportunity!
I hope this was helpful in your planning! I know your trip is just around the corner, so please let us know if you have any more questions.
We are always here for you at
