I have a reservation on January 8th, will the Christmas decorations be gone already since it is a day after it stops?

A holly jolly hello to you, Maliah. We're so glad you found us at planDisney to ask this question. One of my favorite times to visit is during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. I can certainly understand and relate to the desire to prolong the holiday magic as long as possible into the new year.

Unfortunately, the last day to enjoy all of the holiday festivities will be January 7, 2024. You may still be able to see some holiday cheer and decorations scattered around the resort the day after, but there's no guarantee. In fact, I visited the Disneyland Resort the day after Halloween Time officially ended and saw a few remnants of spooky decorations around, but none of the big staples (like the giant Mickey pumpkin).

I'm so sorry to deliver this news, Maliah. Although, I know you will still have an absolutely magical time during your visit. There are lots of new things to explore around theme parks. One of my new favorite places is to head to San Fransokyo Square in Disney California Adventure Park for lunch or dinner. You might even be able to catch Baymax for a fist bump or squishy hug. There's also the Adventureland Treehouse in Disneyland Park which reopened earlier this month. I'm super excited to explore this reimagined classic attraction during my next visit.

Maliah, I'm sorry this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I hope it's still helpful. Here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back to visit us with anything else you might be curious about.
