Welcome to planDisney, Joseph! Your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming right up, how exciting! Whether dining at
Cinderella’s Royal Table or joining Winnie the Pooh and friends at
The Crystal Palace, you will surely have a fantastic dining experience and make memories that will last a lifetime!
I am happy to inform you that the Walt Disney World Theme Park
parking lots will open 45 minutes to 1 hour before
Early Theme Park Entry Hours. To find those hours for your visit, check out the
Magic Kingdom site, click on Park Hours, select your date, and just like magic, the Early Entry and regular park hours will appear! The
complimentary transportation options will also begin to operate anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes before the park opens, depending on the mode of transportation. For example, the
Resort Monorail and Express Monorail technically begin operating 30 minutes before the Magic Kingdom opens (although I have experienced it operating immediately when the parking lots open), and the
ferryboats will begin approximately 45 minutes before the park opens. So if Early Entry Hours are scheduled to be 7:30 AM on the day of your visit, you should be able to park around 6:45 AM, hop on the monorail or ferryboat and be waiting at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom well before the official park opening of 8:00 AM. Plenty of time for you to make your way down Main Street, U.S.A., for your breakfast reservation!
Since you have breakfast covered, let me give you some snack recommendations for your day in the Magic Kingdom.
Sleepy Hollow, just behind the Cinderella Castle has a delicious Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich and Funnel Cake.
Gaston’s Tavern has a Warm Cinnamon Roll as big as LeFou’s head. And
Aloha Isle is home to the infamous DOLE Whip, a delicious frozen treat of pineapple and vanilla swirled together. I am hungry just thinking about it!
