Bright Suns, Bethany! Welcome to planDisney.
You will be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few DAYS! I know just how excited you are getting as you count down the days to your summer vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
My son lived his Star Wars adventure at
Savi's Workshop a few weeks ago. I consider it one of the best experiences at Walt Disney World - without spoiling anything, it's like an interactive entertainment experience combined with a merchandise experience, and it's totally immersive. You will be transported into the Star Wars universe during the build. Get excited!
Because you have an experience reserved at park opening, you will be allowed to enter the park early. You may arrive and see that Guests have been allowed into
Disney's Hollywood Studios before official park opening - this is a daily operational decision based on attendance numbers, crowd flow, and safety. Look for a Cast Member to the left or right of the entry tapstiles and let them know you're here for a Savi's Workshop reservation. They'll assist you with entrance and point you in the direction of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I also recommend reading the Know Before You Go information on the Savi's Workshop webpage.
One thing to note is that Savi's is a tiny bit hard to find (they need to be sure the First Order can't find them!), so I recommend looking at a
map of Disney's Hollywood Studios. Cast Members are positioned throughout the land and are happy to point you in the right direction. When you arrive, you'll be given a menu to choose your lightsaber parts, you'll pay, and then the magic will begin.
Have an amazing time this week, Bethany! Exploring Batuu and
Black Spire Outpost is an out-of-this-world experience for Star Wars fans, so be sure to stop and take in all the details, pose for some photos, drink blue milk, and have a BLAST!
May the Force be with you,
Robyn
