Hi Carl,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with a great question!
First, let me congratulate you for trying to make
advanced dining reservations prior to your visit. I know how disappointing it is to check dining availability only to discover there are no reservation times open. Unfortunately, there is no priority list to which you may add your name. Since I have been initially unable to secure a few dining reservations in the past, I have learned to
just keep checking. I will usually pick a night that we are watching a movie and, while watching, will continue to check for dining reservations using. Although this method may seem inefficient, it has worked! Either on that day or a subsequent day, a reservation has come available.
One time, I also tried a dining reservation service that promised to send alerts if availability opened for a restaurant we were hoping to reserve. I was able to make a dining reservation before the service alerted me of any availability. So, I cannot say that such services are a guarantee, but they are another possibility. Also keep trying until the day before your planned dinner. On one of our trips, I was able to get a
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop reservation the day before we wanted to go! I felt like we had won the dining lottery.
Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants. The setting is quite magical, and the food has been delicious during our visits. We dined there on our last visit and had a table in The Grand Ballroom, my favorite room in which to dine. We have also dined in the West Wing and The Castle Gallery. In The Grand Ballroom, we always get to spot the Beast as he makes his way through the castle. I think of this as a celebrity walkthrough. It is quite an event!
Carl, since you have some time prior to your trip, I believe you have a good chance of snagging a reservation. Once you have a reservation, if it's not for an optimal time, you can always keep checking. It just helps to know that you have a reservation!
Magic and memories.
