We have a reservation for Be Our Guest @ 8:45 pm. I'm a little worried that we won't get to see the Beast. Is there still time we will get to see him after we eat? Or should we see him before we eat.

    Hi Christie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this question to us!

You definitely scored one for the team with a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. This is one of my family's favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort. When we have dined for dinner, the Beast did a celebrity walk through the restaurant then settled down to take photos in a separate room. Our last dinner reservation was at 7:15 p.m. and the Beast was still there when we left at about 9:00 p.m. Although character appearances are subject to change, I am fairly certain he will still be there when you dine.

The cast member who served us let us know when we could go take our photo with the Beast - it was at the end of our meal. When we first dined there, my girls asked if the Beast could sign autographs and the cast member nicely indicated that he could not because "he was still learning to write."

I do hope you have a chance to really absorb the intricate details in each of the dining areas. The Grand Ballroom is actually my favorite because I can just imagine the Beast dancing with Belle there!

Be sure to check the Park Hours and the time for Happily Ever After for the date of your visit. The crowds can be intense near the time of the fireworks and it could take you far longer to get to the restaurant. I would advise that you make sure you are behind the castle by 8:00 p.m. so that you do not have to navigate Main Street or the hub area in front of the castle to get to the restaurant.

Christie, I do hope you have a wondrous time!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
