I have a reservation at Be our Guest at 845 in magic kingdom. The park closes at 9 that night. Will I still be able to ride the bus back to our resort art of animatiom after our dinner?

Hi Leah! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to...planDisney! Thanks for bringing such a great question to our group! Congratulations on scoring a highly coveted Disney Dining reservation to Be Our Guest Restaurant (my favorite)! Your 8:45 dinner reservation will allow you to end your magical day in the most perfect of ways!

Disney Resort transportation remains available for an hour after the parks close. The first tip that I want to offer is to double-check the Disney Park operating hours calendar for the night of your dining reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. The Walt Disney World Resort recently updated park hours for the month of July! The park will close at either 10:00 or 11:00 PM most nights during the month.

If you’re unable to catch Disney Resort transportation from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (by the way...great resort choice), you have a few options. First, you could take the Monorail, or make the short walk from Magic Kingdom Park, to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Once at the resort, you can catch a bus to Disney Springs and then transfer to a bus to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Disney Springs is open until 11:00 or 11:30 most summer nights, so buses will run later there. As another option, you can also contact a private driver using a popular rideshare app. I did this for the first time during a visit about three weeks ago. The ride was inexpensive and convenient!

Leah, have a great day at Magic Kingdom Park! Enjoy that dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant! And, as Lumiere says, “Try the grey stuff! It’s delicious!”
