I have a 8:25 AM reservation at Be Our Guest, how early will we be allowed into the park? Will we get in before the other guests entering early for "rope drop?"

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda!  I’m so glad to hEAR that you got your Be Our Guest reservation in order to enjoy coffee with The Master! Just be sure to stay out of that West Wing… (actually, break the rules during your stay. It’s the only way you will be able to see the real enchanted rose in the alcove!)

There are a few scenarios for the morning of your Magic Kingdom day. When you check the Parks and Hours calendar, you’ll be able to choose Magic Kingdom and the day in question. If the park opens to general guests at 9, but has Extra Magic Hours at 8am, Disney Resort guests will be able to access Main Street, U.S.A. as early as 7am! If this is like your breakfast morning, you won’t have any issues getting in! If there are no Extra Magic Hours for a 9am opening, guests will be able to access Main Street U.S.A. at 8am, which will be plenty of time to reach Fantasyland. Anything beyond Cinderella Castle Hub won’t be open to the public, but you'll be able to refer to your reservation with a Cast Member at the front of the park. My family and I had a pre-park opening breakfast at Hollywood & Dine last summer and we really enjoyed being able to peruse Echo Lake and Gertie the dinosaur with a clear view!

With the staged opening and the Welcome Show, Let the Magic Begin, occurring each day at Magic Kingdom, you’re sure to have a magical morning! If you have more questions about getting your day started, please let me know. We’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
