I have a reservation at Grand Floridian Cafe at 7:30 am. Can I park at the Grand Floridian all day? Or should I park at the TTC and take the monorail? Can we enter Magic Kingdom as soon as we are done eating or do we have to wait until gates open at 9 am?

Hiya, Kara! I'm so glad to see you again at planDisney - the countdown is on to your 2025 Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so it's a good idea to get your (Donald) ducks in a row. Whenever we visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, a highlight is always enjoying some of the outstanding restaurants at the theme parks, hotels, and Disney Springs! January is a great time to visit, with lower crowds and cooler temperatures, and I'll be happy to give you the details about resort parking for your breakfast at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

You will not be able to park at the hotel all day. Guests with a dining reservation at a Disney Resort Hotel can park at that location for up to three hours to ensure that Guests staying at that resort have adequate parking. When you arrive at the Grand Floridian, the Security Cast Members at the gate will ask for proof of your reservation and then direct you to the appropriate parking area. They may give you a parking pass indicating the time frame when you're allowed to park. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe (the Floridian-style Eggs Benedict is one of my favorites!) and check out the shops in the hotel before you need to move your car.

Your plan to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center is your best bet, so you can head straight to Magic Kingdom Park after breakfast. You can enter the park at the posted opening time - but if you are staying at a hotel on property, you can enjoy Early Theme Park Entry, when the park opens to registered hotel Guests 30 minutes before the general opening. I recommend checking the Park Hours for the exact times the parks will open during your January visit so you have the most accurate information.

Kara, I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes! Wishing you and your family a wonderful vacation full of core memories, thrills, and delicious food. Thanks so much for making a return trip to planDisney, and please come and see us again if we can help with any other questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your next Disney vacation.

    See Ya Real Soon!
