Richard from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We have a reservation at the Grand Californian hotel beginning 9 March 2024. Our daughter and her family will also be arriving on the same day. We would all like to have adjoining rooms how do I request that?

    Hey Richard!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is my favorite Disney Hotel and I just know that you’re going to absolutely love it. Its proximity to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park along with the Craftsman elegance at every turn cannot be beat. There’s a reason they call it The Grand and all of the dining options, shopping and amenities truly make it live up to its name.

If you’d like the two rooms to be next to or close to each other without them actually connecting, then you would want to put in a request for adjoining rooms. If you’d like for the two rooms to have a door between them that you can use to walk between both of the rooms then you’d want to request connecting rooms. You can make either request by calling Room Reservations and letting a Cast Member know to put it on your reservation. Requests are just that and cannot be guaranteed but Cast Members will do their best to accommodate all requests. It helps to check in early so there is time to make changes and try to accommodate you the day you check in. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is regularly sold out so if you were to check in late the possibility to make changes or move you would greatly diminish or be nonexistent.

Well Richard, I hope you have a grand stay and if you have anymore questions please come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
