I have a reservation at the fort wilderness campground. My daughters family is staying at the Animation Studio Resort. Is it permissible for me to have my two grandkids stay one nite with us at the campground? Is there additional costs to do that

Hi Philip! Sounds like you are bringing a recreational vehicle down for your Disney vacation.

Each reservation for the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds is for up to ten persons. This is for campsites and not the cabins. If you are "camping" during your stay then it would be permissible and tons of fun for your grandchildren to come over and stay. You do not have to check them in as they will already  have their magic bands etc from the Art Of Animation reservation.

Our grandchildren love to stay with us in our motor coach. It is a fun resort for them to play and explore in and of course they think they are camping when they come. I have grown beyond camping so we call it "glamping". It is a great time to possibly rent a canoe or try your luck at fishing. Definitely head down to Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong one evening to enjoy the marshmallow roasting, singing, dancing, and of course meet and greet for Chip and Dale. And don't forget they will always show a Disney movie following the show.

Enjoy and cherish the time with your grandchildren!
