Hello, I have a reservation for Fantasmic dining at Prime Time Cafe. It says it’s for the first Fantasmic showing. I wanted the last show. Can this be changed? Can we take our voucher to the last show? Thank you

Welcome to planDisney, Cindy! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. The Fantasmic! Dining Package is a great option to guarantee your seating at Fantasmic! as well as a great meal, so let's chat about what happens when Fantasmic! has two showings in a night and you have that dining package booked.

On nights when Fantasmic! runs twice, the dining package is typically only offered for the first show, and that performance is the one that books up fastest. Because of that, the voucher you receive with your dining package is tied to the first showing and won't be accepted for priority seating at the second show. You won't be able to walk up to the late show and use that first show voucher for reserved seating.

If your heart is set on the second show, the cleanest game plan is to cancel the dining package, make a regular dining reservation at 50's Prime Time Café (or anywhere else you'd like to eat), and then plan to arrive about 30 minutes early for the second showing of Fantasmic! The late show usually feels noticeably less crowded, since many families head out earlier, so standby seating is much easier to snag than at the first performance. Walking in 30 minutes in advance is a comfortable buffer and will allow you to get seats for the show.

If you'd rather keep your current dining package meal time but still attend the late show, just know you'd be forfeiting the seating benefit because the voucher won't transfer. In that case, you could still enjoy dinner and then head to the amphitheater for the second performance via standby and choose from the open sections when the theater opens.

I hope this answers your question, Cindy, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
