Esmee from Noord Brabant Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have a reservation to Epcot for 6 on april 30th. However I want to change the reservation for 1 to another park. Can I cancel the reservation for 1 or does it cancel the reservation for the entire party when I use the cancel button in the reservation?

    Hi Esmee!

Thank you for sending us this question today, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Wow, Esmee, your magical vacation is coming so soon! Can you believe that in just a couple of days, you will be on your magic carpet ride to sunny Florida? I know I would be thrilled, and I am honoured to be a part of your planning journey.

Now, let's talk about those park reservations and how you can modify them! You can cancel one park reservation without affecting the rest of your group to answer your question. If you go into your My Disney Experience account on your computer (I find this process a bit easier on a desktop than on your mobile phone), you will click on "My Plans" and then scroll down to all your plans and reservations. There, you should be able to view the park reservation with the one person's profile on it and click on "View Details." Then, you will be able to cancel the reservation, and you might be prompted to indicate which member of your party needs to cancel. However, if you are having issues with this step, I would recommend reaching out to a Cast Member via chat, email, or phone. Once you land in sunny Florida, you can even stop by one of the Guest Relations kiosks and ask one of the Cast Members to help you cancel this reservation. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents and can help with pretty much anything and everything!

Now, Esmee, did you know that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during an especially magical time? Since October of 2021, the Walt Disney World Resort has been celebrating its 50th anniversary with various unique offerings, decorations and souvenirs. Personally, I love the new entertainment that has returned and first opened to celebrate this milestone! At Magic Kingdom, I highly recommend watching Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire in front of the Cinderella Castle and the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and the Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade. In addition, don't forget to catch the new nighttime spectaculars, Disney Enchantment and Harmonious, at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, respectively. Lastly, stop and meet your favourite characters, as hugs have officially returned to the Walt Disney World Resort! There truly isn't anything more magical than hugging Mickey Mouse on your Disney vacation.

I hope this was helpful, Esmee, and that you and your loved ones have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help, especially from one international guest to another!

    Have a magical day,
