Hi Suzy,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about theme park tickets and reservations, I am happy to help you with your vacation planning!
You will be happy to know that if your plans change, you still have great options. Under normal circumstances, if a Guest has
Theme Park Tickets and is unable to use them by their usage date, then the value of the wholly unused tickets may be applied towards other tickets at a future date. If there is a price difference, then the Guest will only need to pay the difference in the value. However, these are certainly not "usual" times! Walt Disney World understands the changing climate and will do everything they can to help you with your new plans if you need to cancel. The Cast Member I spoke to recommended to call them at this phone number for
Walt Disney World Existing Tickets if you find yourself needing to change your plans.
Suzy, as we continue further with the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World I recommend familiarizing yourself with the information in this link for
Walt Disney World Experience Updates. Currently in order to visit a theme park, Guests need both a valid theme park ticket and a
Disney Park Pass Reservation. The Disney Park Pass Reservation doesn't cost anything, it is a system which helps manage theme park attendance and thereby promote physical distancing. If you know you will not be able to visit a theme park because your plans have changed, we kindly ask if you would be sure to cancel your Disney Park Pass reservation so another person will have the ability to visit the theme park.
I hope this information helps you with your planning. If you have any further questions, or are looking for some vacation tips, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney!
