Reservations, including those for experiences like
Droid Depot at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in
Disney's Hollywood Studios and those at dining locations, are subject to the original terms and conditions that applied when you made your reservation. This differs by experience and location, but may include cancelation and/or "no-show" fees.
Sean, for this reason, you'll need to speak directly to the Cast Members at the location you have a reservation for. In my own experience, I have sometimes been able to enjoy a meal at a time earlier in the day than my original reservation, and the Cast Members have waived fees associated with my original reservation being canceled. Please keep in mind that this is
not something that you should expect, and in many cases, it simply isn't possible. For example, some locations are staffed based on reservations, and thus wouldn't be able to accommodate you at an earlier time.
Another thing you might want to try is modifying your current reservation to a new time. As other Guests' plans change, so does availability, so you may be able to actually modify to get a time earlier in the day or a time that is more preferable for you!
