Hiya, Talia!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning to enjoy all of the home-sweet-home amenities of your Disney Vacation Club Membership on your upcoming stay. As a Disney Vacation Club Member for the last 22 years, we have enjoyed flexible, affordable family vacations year after year to Disney and beyond. Plus, having a kitchenette in a Deluxe Studio or a full-sized kitchen and in-room laundry in a Villa has made vacations so much easier.
Talia, I double checked with Disney Vacation Club Member Services. Unfortunately, the current
Free Disney Meal Plan offer can't be added to your Disney Vacation Club Resort reservation since it was booked through Disney Vacation Club. It is only available to Guests who book their non-discounted 3-night, 3-day Walt Disney Travel Company package within the date window that includes a room at a select Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option direct through Walt Disney World.
If you would like to add a Disney Dining Plan to your Disney Vacation Club Resort reservation, you can do so (or even check pricing) by doing the following (please note that it works best in Chrome:)
- Log into your Disney Vacation Club account on the Disney Vacation Club website.
- Go to the My DVC tab and click on "My Dashbord."
- Scroll to your DVC Resort reservation and click on the arrow next to the date which opens up an area that includes "Trip Options."
- Click on the button that says "Purchase A Dining Plan" and then you can see the pricing for your stay for both the Quick Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan.
- If you decide to purchase one, you can select "Add Dining Plan" and then it should allow you to check out and purchase it right here in your account.
- Should you run into any trouble, you can call Member Services who can assist you.
As Disney Vacation Club Members, we don't usually add the Dining Plan because we order groceries and make a few meals in our Villa, therefore we lose out on maximing our Dining Plan. However, if you plan to enjoy most of your meals at the quick service restaurants or table-service restaurants on Disney property, it is definitely a great way to save money and maximize the magic of your vacation.
I hope this helps you, Talia! If you have further questions, stop back to see me and I'll be so happy to help you. Remember wherever you wander and wherever you roam, Disney Vacation Club is always your home sweet home.
Have fun making magical memories!
Keri
