Hi Steve, welcome to planDisney!
To change your
theme park reservations, you have to cancel your current reservation, and then book a new reservation. BUT, first please take a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to see if there is availability on April 3, 2022. I took a look and I did not see any open reservations available on April 3, 2022. I searched both
One Park Per Day Tickets and Park Hopper Tickets. I suggest you continue to monitor the calendar as reservation availability is fluid and constantly changing.
BUT a quick warning for you. Even if a reservation opens, there is a chance that the reservation will get booked by the time you cancel your current reservation and try to book a new one. Guests have informed us of this happening, so there is a risk. ALSO, once you cancel your current reservation, there is a risk that another Guest might pick up your reservation, leaving you with no reservations at all.
With all that said, if you do find an open reservation for April 3, 2022, and you wish to move forward in booking that date, you'll need to first cancel your current reservation by logging into your
Disneyland Resort account, selecting the "My Disneyland" link, and then clicking the "Ticket and Reservation Details" link. Select the reservation you wish to cancel and click "Cancel Reservation". Once canceled, you're free to go ahead and book your new reservation!
Whew that was a lot about reservations, right? I do have a bit of fun news for you! Whether you go on April 3, 2022, or April 5, 2022, you're going to arrive in time for the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival which is currently taking place through April 26, 2022! This event is super fun, with lots of delicious food and beverages, and exciting entertainment!
I hope you have the most magical time, and if you have any more questions, visit us again!
See ya real soon!
