    If I make a reservation for Disneyland this summer will my Magic Bands I used for WDW last summer still work since they are still linked to my account or do I have to purchase new ones?

    Hello Arlene, and thank you for bringing your great question to planDisney!  

    It will depend on what type of MagicBand you have Arlene, as only MagicBand+ is supported at the Disneyland Resort.  If you have a MagicBand or a MagicBand 2, they are not supported at this time and cannot be linked to your Disneyland app.  If you do not have a MagicBand+ do not worry, I did not have one when I visited late last year, and was able to use my mobile phone for my tickets to enter the parks and Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections.

    If you find out that you will be in the market for a MagicBand+, you can shop for one on-site at the Disneyland Resort at these great locations, or you can also visit shopDisney and purchase one prior to your trip.  I just purchased mine for an upcoming trip, and I am looking forward to having the convenience of hands-free access, and the enhanced experiences during the nighttime spectaculars!
