I'm excited you have chosen the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel for your upcoming trip! This hotel is in a prime location to not only two theme parks, but other Disney Resorts Hotels as well. You have countless dining options at your fingertips, not only in your resort but also on Disney's Boardwalk.
Flying Fish is one of the best restaurants I have had the chance to dine at, and I highly recommend trying this location out during your upcoming visit!
When booking your stay through a third-party site, the confirmation number that is provided upon the completion of your order is not always the same number needed to link your reservation to your
My Disney Experience account. I would start by scanning the confirmation email that was sent to you from your booking to see if you come across another reservation number. If not, your best bet will be to call the Swan Hotel and ask them to pull up your reservation information. They should be able to provide you with the correct reservation confirmation to use to link your hotel.
Once you receive your reservation information, log on to your My Disney Experience account and click on "Resort Hotel" followed by "Link a Reservation". Here you will enter your reservation number and last name on the reservation. Having your hotel linked to your account will allow you to take advantage of any perks available to you. In my opinion, the biggest one is
Early Theme Park Entry to any of the four parks each day. If you're an early riser like myself, you are allowed to enter the park 30 minutes before the official park opening time. This gives you a head start on the majority of other Guests and possibly ride a popular attraction with minimal wait times.
Being so close to the International Gateway entrance to the World Showcase, park hopper tickets are a great thing to have. No matter what park you start your day at, you can walk over to
EPCOT for the evenings and enjoy a nice dinner in one of the countries or catch the nighttime spectacular, Harmonious when you want to. You're so close not to take advantage of this prime location.
