Hi Michelle,
The whole dining scene at
Disney Springs is so exciting these days, and every new restaurant just makes it better and better. You absolutely are welcome to make an
advanced dining reservation at Disney Springs, even if you are not a theme park visitor or a resort guest.
A couple of years ago, to better control no-shows on dining reservations,
Walt Disney World began requiring a credit card to reserve most table service restaurants in the parks, resorts and Disney Springs. You will not be charged a fee if you keep the reservation, but if you don't show up or don't cancel within 24 hours of your reservation, you can be charged a $10 per person penalty.
Among the newest Disney Springs table service restaurants, I've had the pleasure of dining at
Morimoto Asia, the
Boathouse and
STK Orlando and highly recommend all three. I can't wait to try
Frontera Cocina and
Chef Art Smth's Homecoming very soon.
I hope that clarifies the reservation process for you, and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Happy dining!
Wilma
