Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Mercedes. We're delighted you're here! It looks like you're planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort this Spring. Your vacation will be abloom with magic!
Adding a dining plan to your Disney Resort hotel reservation is a great way to add convenience and flexibility to your stay. As a mom of three, I need all the convenience and flexibility I can get! To answer your question, adding a dining plan to a Disney Resort hotel reservation is a bit of an all-or-nothing situation; if you'd like to add the
Disney Dining Plan or the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to your existing reservation, you need to add it for everyone listed on that room reservation. I know you were hoping to hear differently, and I can understand why. My oldest son is old enough to be considered an adult at Disney dining locations, but he's super picky, making a poor value of some of the meals we have to purchase him, particularly at table-service restaurants. However, I will say, that we find a good value in purchasing the Disney Dining Plan for our family because we like to book a few
Character Dining Experiences for our vacations. By intentionally maximizing the value of the table-service meals, quick-service meals, and snacks included with the Disney Dining Plan, we save some Disney dollars overall!
If you're still unsure about whether to add a dining plan to your Disney vacation, I encourage you to listen to (or watch)
