Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jolene! Fireworks and nighttime spectaculars are my son’s favorite way to end the night. He secretly loves Daddy to take baby sis back to the room to bed down while we pile into the center hub with popcorn to watch our favorite show.
The Crystal Palace in
Magic Kingdom is right on the edge of the Central Hub inside Magic Kingdom, and with all it’s many windows, provides good opportunities to people watch and see some of the sights of Magic Kingdom. Depending on which day your dining reservation falls on, the fireworks (whether
Happily Ever After or Holiday Wishes Fireworks) should show around 9pm. Dining at The
Crystal Palace will take about 60-90 minutes, so I’m afraid you’ll miss the show! You will see residual fireworks and hear the music, but the view may be blocked by other tables, the front porch and especially the overhang of the roof. You won’t be able to leave the restaurant until you’ve paid your bill, so think about moving your dining reservation to California Grill or
Ohana, where the music for the fireworks is piped in and you’ll have a panoramic view of the sky over the parks. Otherwise, grab a Quick Service Dinner and gather in the Hub. It will be crowded, but well worth the wait!
If I can help you spark some more fun on your vacation, please let me know. We’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
