We have a reservation for dinner at Cinderella’s castle at 8:25 pm. My boyfriend is afraid we’ll miss the fireworks at 9 at the end of the night. We have never been, this is our 1st time. Will the restaurant allow us to step out to see? What can we do?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jesus and significant other! Cinderella’s Royal Table is a fantastic way to meet Cinderella and several of her royal Princess guests during a meal! You’ll receive either a charming sword toy or a fairy Godmother wand as a keepsake!

If you are present in the restaurant during Happily Ever After Fireworks, the lights will dim and the music for the presentation will be played. You’ll even seen a portion of the show through the large leaded windows across the back of the small restaurant, but unfortunately, you won’t be able to see the projections on the front of the castle or see the show as a whole. And sadly, you won’t be able to step out of the Castle for the presentation. Portions of the castle are roped off for safety and with the show playing 25 minutes (not including finding a spot in the crowded Hub and then swimming through the crowd to return) you won’t be able to dine during your slot and see the show. You may want to consider which experience is more important to you if you are only in Magic Kingdom for one day. If you can return the next night to see the show, I guarantee you will love it. My family likes to watch it from Casey’s Corner or the Plaza ice cream counter where we can grab a snack and enjoy the show.

If I can help you choose another night to see the fireworks or help you cancel your dining reservation, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
