Hi there, Barbara!
A
birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth - I can't think of anything more magical! It sounds like you are hard at work planning a special day.
Storytellers is a great location for a big gathering - you're going to love the spacious dining and delicious menu options!
With just a few days until the big birthday bash, I'm sure you are eager to put those finishing, celebratory touches on your plans. I went ahead and spoke to a Cast Member at the
Grand Californian this morning, and they confirmed that you can bring your own cake! They are not able to refrigerate it, so as long as you are happy to keep it with you at the table while you dine, you should be all set.
I highly recommend picking up a
complimentary "I'm Celebrating" button for the birthday Mouseketeer! You can ask for one at most merchandise locations inside and outside of the parks. Your special Guest will be showered with well wishes for a magical year ahead, and you never know what kind of pixie dust may follow.
As it seems like you are a magic maker and planner at heart, I'll leave you with one final tip for your next celebratory occasion! Did you know you can order a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake at select dining locations inside the parks? You can actually add it while you are making your
dining reservation. You can choose from chocolate or white chocolate and add a "Happy Birthday" or "Congratulations" greeting. We did this for my daughter's 5th birthday, and I have to say, it's as delicious as it is cute! Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes are currently available at Blue Bayou, Café Orléans, Lamplight Lounge, River Belle Terrace, and Wine Country Trattoria.
Barbara, I sure hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
Tara
