Welcome back to planDisney, Jennifer! There's nothing more exciting than seeing new plans and dining reservations stack up in your My Disney Experience account as you count down the days to your next magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! As
advance dining reservations open 60 days in advance, let's make sure you have all the information you need to secure and link those reservations to everyone in your party!
Jennifer, when you first book your reservations, it will only ask for a Primary Guest. I find this to be useful when I'm trying to book several reservations on the same day, as it saves me from taking extra steps to link or import additional guests at the time of booking. Once your reservations are secured, you will find the details for each one in
My Plans under your My Disney Experience account and you will see an option to "Update Guests" where you can then link guests who will be joining you from your
Family & Friends List. Once you complete this step, everyone linked should see the reservations you made populate under their plans as well; linking your itinerary to everyone's accounts in this way helps to keep track of joint plans so everyone can stay in the know!
Remember when it's time to make those reservations that if you're staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to book all of your dining reservations 60 days in advance of your check-in; this is one of my favorite
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel because it helps me to ensure I get all of the reservations my family wants at one time!
Jennifer, I hope this helps, and I hope you'll be able to secure all of the special meals on your list for your upcoming visit! If you need any dining recommendations or have any other planning questions before your trip, come on back to
planDisney and let us know! We're happy to help you plan for magic, memories, and mealtime!
Bon Appetit,
Alison
