hi if i make reservation for dining for 2 people only (my guests) do i have to be with them or one of them as the reservation will be in my name? or can i just accompany them to the front reception area b4 the reservation and my guests go in without me?

    Hi Fatima,

Thanks for posting your question about advance dining reservations at Walt Disney World Resort to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. If your name is on a reservation, you do not necessarily have to dine with your guests at that restaurant. I had a situation in the past when I had an advance dining reservation, but when the evening rolled around I wasn't feeling up to a full dinner. I decided to let two of my traveling companions have the reservation instead. I signed in with them at the podium at the time of the reservation but then headed back to my room. Since my friends used the reservation, there was no cancellation fee. Therefore, the scenario you describe in your question should work just fine. Your friends should be able to dine using your reservation. Of course, it would be helpful if you have the reservation number on hand at the podium when you or they sign in.

If you prefer, however, to cancel the reservation, be sure to do so at least 24 hours in advance on your My Disney Experience account or by calling (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
